Apr 20, 2015 · Have now had this problem twice on my 2009 sport premium. First time a new lock fitted at garage to rear drivers side at £160 cost. Problem is a microswitch inside the lock and loads of cars appear to get this problem. My battery also ran down, alarms sound etc. the drivers door has now decided to have the same fault.
Aug 7, 2016 · Posted August 7, 2016. I have owned my 2004 Jaguar X-type for almost 8 years and it's been an AWESOME vehicle! It has a very loud noise in the front end when accelerating, two repair shops say the Transfer case needs to be replaced. The cost of this repair is around $4400, which is more than the value of the vehicle (according the KBB).
